Each room is custom designed for your specific location, keeping in mind the architecture of your home, how you would like to use the room and of course, your budget.
Can a room like this be built on my existing deck?
Yes, if the deck meets our specifications. In some instances we will simply need to reinforce the existing deck, or we can build a new deck foundation.
What if I don’t have a deck?
We have an experienced team of builders who will build your decking foundation as a part of your total project.
What is the average price of a patio room?
As you would expect, every room that we build is a bit different, and therefore there can be a significant range in pricing. The price is based on your specific size and design. A general range is $15,000 – $25,000.
I would love a room like this, but I am not sure it could be built where I want it to go.
We hear that all the time. In many cases, we are able to design your room around any existing limitations you may have. One of our design specialists would be happy to meet with you and work through the details of your design.
What does 3-season really mean, and what months can you use a room like this?
3-season simply refers to the fact that the room is not insulated for year- round use. Most of our customers tell us that they use their rooms on an everyday basis from about April – October. The other months of the year they use their rooms for occasional use on a sunny winter day or when they need extra space for entertaining. A small space heater is usually plenty to take the chill off.
Are these rooms designed to stand up to our harsh New England winters?
Absolutely. Each room is completely engineered to meet all state codes for snow and wind loads.
What should I do if I would like to get more information on design and pricing?
Simply call or stop into our showroom and we would be happy to schedule a convenient time to meet with you at your home. At that time we can answer your questions, provide you with some specific design ideas and work with you on pricing. There is no charge for this service.
What are the advantages of this type of construction?
There are many. The strength of the materials we use allows us to maximize the amount of glass and screen in you room creating the feeling of being outside. Your room will have a 50-year manufacturer's warranty and is virtually maintenance free.
Could I buy the materials and build the room myself?
No. Each room is built on site by one of our professionally trained installation crews. The typical installation takes between 5 and 10 days at which point you can relax and begin enjoying your new room.
